Jessie and Arthur are looking for a home together

Outcome

Jessie and Arthur featured in Pete’s Pet subjects column on Saturday 11th June 2016.

Arthur is a four year old Bichon Frise and Jessie is an eight year old Staffordshire Bull terrier. Jessie and Arthur make a lovable pair – they are devoted to one another and are looking for a home together.  They both have heaps of personality and are looking for an active home with owners who will enjoy regularly taking them out for exercise and play. You can see them in action on Wood Green’s youtube site –  visit woodgreen.org.uk to find out more or call 0300 303 9333.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?

Message from their new owner: Jessie and Arthur have been with us nearly 3 weeks now, so I wanted to give you an update.
Both Jessie and Arthur have settled in perfectly and have made our house come alive again after the loss of our last dog.  They both have fantastic personalities that are shining through and like nothing more than playing in the garden, going on long walks and having big cuddles on the sofa. Everyone who meets them falls in love with them, they really are such a fantastic, friendly pair.  You would never know they are nearly 9 and 5!!!!
We have lots planned for them, they are loving weekly trips out, and we are already organising our holiday with them next year. They are so loving and friendly we are just all so surprised that they were in woodgreen for so long, so sad as they really are a wonderful, quirky pair!!!

For us this is our first time with two dogs and it won’t be our last. I would highly recommend not overlooking two dogs, you get a pair that love each other, play together, keep each other company and give you double the amount of love and cuddles back!!!
A massive thank you to all who cared and looked after them, and those who helped us in the process in brining these two wonderful dogs into our lives.  The above picture is Jessie and Arthur in their new home.
