Outcome

Powderpuff featured in Pete’s column a few months ago.

Powderpuff is a beautiful fluffy completely white adult female cat. Powderpuff was handed in as a stray to a vet in North London who referred her to us. She had squamous-cell carcinoma (skin cancer) on both her ears which was likely to have been caused by exposure to the sun. Out vets amputated the pinna on both ears. With most of these cases, the surgery is curative.

Powderpuff is a really lovely friendly cat who desires to sniggle into someone’s lap or find a peaceful place on a sofa. She is long haired so may require regular brushing. Visit Celia Hammond Animal Trust on www.celiahammond.org or email canningtown@celiahammond.org.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?

Powderpuff has been successfully rehomed and she is very happy in her new home.
