Sandy is a 10 year old Shar Pei

Outcome

This is Sandy.  She is a 10 year old Shar Pei.  Sandy has been assessed to live with children aged 12 years and above, she cannot live with cats but she may be able to live with another calm dog.  Sandy came to be at Danaher through no fault of her own.  Unfortunately when she arrived, she wasn’t in the best of health.  She is now doing very well and is ready to find a family of her own.  Sandy was very shy when she first arrived but is slowly gaining confidence with her handlers and enjoys a fuss.  She loves going on walks, where she can sniff and explore her environment.  If you think you can offer Sandy the home she deserves, then please visit the Danaher Animal Home website www.danaheranimalhome.org.uk or contact Reception on 0300 111 4321.

Sandy featured in Pete’s column in August 2019.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?

I’m pleased to say that Sandy is doing great. She was adopted and is getting on well in her new home.
