Compulsory microchipping of dogs is coming soon – in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England

Compulsory microchipping of dogs is about to happen. By this time next year, if we all comply with the law, every single dog in Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales will be microchipped, with their owners’ details stored on central databases.

Will this solve the problem of lost and straying dogs?
