Bessie’s an 8 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross looking for a new home with the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) after she was fond straying. She’s a happy and very affectionate dog but has been continually overlooked in kennels. She has plenty of energy and enjoys playing with toys and training, so she would suit a home where she’ll get plenty of exercise.
If you would like to know more about Bessie please contact NAWT’s Berkshire rehoming centre on 01488 638584 or to find a pet in need of a home in your area, visit www.nawt.org.uk/rehoming

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
Bessie hasn’t yet found a home and is still with us at our Berkshire centre. She’s enjoying some of the home comforts the centre provides (there are tvs and sofas in each room as it specifically caters for older dogs) and she has her own Facebook page- ‘Beautiful Bessie’ – to try and help her find a new owner.
