By placing an order on petethevet.com, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which comply with EU consumer protection legislation.
Products and Pricing
- We sell primarily books written by Pete Wedderburn, but may from time to time also sell books by other authors.
- All prices are in Euro (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Delivery costs will be added at checkout and depend on your delivery address and the weight of your order
- We reserve the right to change prices without notice, but confirmed orders will be honoured at the price paid at the time of purchase.
Ordering and Payment
- An order is confirmed upon receipt of our confirmation email.
- We accept payment via credit card or debit card.
- All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see and do not store your credit or debit card details
- Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
Delivery
- Products can be purchased from any country but are only shipped to Ireland & the UK.
- Estimated delivery time: 7 working days.
- We are not responsible for delays outside our control, but will keep you informed where possible.
Right of Withdrawal (Returns & Cancellation)
- 14-Day Cooling-off Period: Under EU law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods for any reason.
- Procedure: Notify us at pete@petethevet.com within 14 days of delivery. You then have 14 days to return the items.
- Refunds: We will refund the product price and original shipping costs within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or proof of return.
- Return Costs: The buyer pays for return shipping.
Faulty or Incorrect Goods
- If products are faulty or do not match the description, you have a legal right to repair, replacement, or refund.
- Please contact us immediately if the goods delivered to you are faulty
Liability
We are liable for any direct loss you suffer as a result of our breach of these terms. We are not liable for indirect losses.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws ofthe Republic of Ireland and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
