Ella is a 4½ year old Rottweiler

Outcome

Ella is a 4.5 year old Rottweiler who arrived into our care following a relationship breakdown.  She has been assessed to live in an adult only home with no cats.  Ella may be able to live with another dog as she previously lived with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross (male) with no issues.  Staff have been training Ella on how to behave around dogs and has been mixed regularly at Danaher so is tolerant of them.  This will need to be continued in her new home.  She is very typical of the breed and ideally would suit a family who have owned Rottweilers before as she does have some mild behaviour issues so would benefit from their experience. She is a loyal and gentle girl who enjoys your company and affection, she will sit by your side and relax whilst watching the world go by.  She has fun on long walks, where she will walk on a loose lead to heel but she can be strong around dogs, sniffing or rolling in something she shouldn’t is the best!

If you think you can offer Ella a new home, then please visit the Danaher Animal Home website www.danaheranimalhome.org.uk or contact Reception on 0300 111 4321.

Ella featured in Pete’s column in August 2020.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?

Ella the Rottweiler is doing really well. Luckily she wasn’t with us for long. She came in, in March and was rehomed at the end of August. She is very happy and has settled with her new family and I’m sure she is cheering them up in these very strange times.
