This handsome chap is Jack. He is a 3 year old Lurcher who has been assessed to live with children 12 years and above. He cannot live with cats or small fluffy animals but maybe able to live with another dog. Jack has been in our care for a while now. He is a very sweet boy, he just needs a few minutes to feel confident around you. Jack is a little shy, therefore we feel he would be best suited to a home with slightly older, calmer children. This would enable him to get some much deserved peace and quiet after life in the kennels. Jack loves a good run around in our enclosed compound. He cannot be let off lead due to his breed except in secure areas as he has a high chase drive. Although Jack enjoys his walks, what he really longs for is a comfy bed, his favourite toys and bundles of love and attention – he has a heart of gold. If you feel you could offer Jack the home he deserves, then please visit our website www.danaheranimalhome.org.uk or contact Reception on 0300 111 4321.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
Jack is settling well into his new home, I believe he has had a few behavioural issues. Members of our staff and a long standing volunteer, who specialises in the sight hounds have been making regular visits to aid training so all good.
