Michelle is a laid back pony looking for a new home

Rescue pony Michelle from Redwings Horse Sanctuary is looking for a new home!

Seven-year-old 13.2hh cob Michelle was originally rescued by Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary in Northern Ireland after she was found by the police as part of a group of horses who were straying on the road.

Crosskennan asked Redwings, with their expert handling and veterinary care teams, for help offering the horses a home for life so that they could continue to help more horses in need in Northern Ireland.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team at Redwings, Michelle is now ready to find a new home through their rehoming programme- the Redwings Guardianship Scheme.

Michelle is a very laid back pony who loves nothing more than hacking and having her ears scratched! Due to her progress in training, the Redwings rehoming team think she will be a brilliant all-rounder, happy to pop over jumps and work in the school.

Please note, Redwings is currently only able to rehome in East Anglia, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
