Peaches is a friendly 2 year old 9.3hh Native Cross

Outcome

Friendly Peaches, a 9.3hh Native Cross who is almost two years old, is a sweet girl looking for a home as a non-ridden companion pony. She is good to catch, lead and groom, but would suit a patient and knowledgeable Guardian who can continue her training and spoil her with plenty of love.

Peaches was born at Redwings Horse Sanctuary after her mum was rescued in 2016 with a group of ponies struggling to survive in bleak conditions on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.

If you think you can offer Peaches a loving home, head to www.redwings.org.uk/rehoming where you’ll also find details of other rescues horses, ponies and donkeys looking to be rehomed.

Peaches featured in Pete’s column earlier this year.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?

Peaches has been rehomed and her Guardians have been in contact to say she has fit into their family just perfectly. She’s taken to her training so well that, when she is old enough, they’d like to continue her training to become a driven pony so she can pull a small cart.
