These three lovely hens featured in Pete’s column in the Telegraph last year.
Charlotte, Elizabeth and Diana came out of their colony farm in the Midlands on May 2nd, the same day the nation welcomed the latest addition to the Royal family. These 3 plucky ex-colony girls are looking for a ‘royally’ good home, but a Peckingham Palace is not required!

What happened next?
I’m delighted to say, Charlotte, Elizabeth and Diana, were re-homed to a lovely young family in Coventry, and are now thoroughly enjoying free range life – as you can see! Charlotte is certainly the most mischievous of the three, and by all reports spends most of her day playing chase with the families Jack Russell. Whilst Elizabeth and Diana are more content enjoying the finer qualities of free range life, and can often be found rootling for worms in the veg patch or on a rare sunny day spreading out their wings and soaking up some rays. All in all it’s a very happy ending for these three lovely little hens!
