Kia is a 4 year old Akita.

Kia featured in Pete’s column in the Telegraph on Saturday 8th August 2015

Kia is a playful and friendly girl looking for a relaxing home in a rural area so she has some space and quiet. She loves her toys and her tennis ball is her favourite – although she has yet to work out that bringing it back is part of the game! When she is uncertain of what to do she can mouth. She is also strong on the lead. She would suit an adult-only home or with older teenagers. She responds well to training and already knows sit and give paw. Kia needs some help with house training, as she seems to have not lived indoors before. She would make a rewarding pet for someone who is looking for a dog to train with and to enjoy a great sense of companionship.

Please come and meet Kia at Bath Cats and Dogs Home, The Avenue, Claverton Down, Bath BA2 7AZ. To find out more about her, please call the Rehoming Team on 01225 787322 or go towww.bathcatsanddogshome.org.uk.
