Tess, a lovely 4 year old Lurcher

Tess featured in Pete’s column in the Telegraph on Saturday 28th November 2015.

Tess is a 4 year-old Lurcher, a sweet girl hoping to find a quiet, loving home where she can relax and enjoy the company of owners who would be around most of the time. She is affectionate with her friends, loves getting cuddles, and is suitable for a family with children. Tess finds kennel life hard and may bark at visitors but needs someone who can understand and look beyond this to see the lovely, loyal lady that she is – and how she would make a wonderful companion. To help ease her stress, she has spent some time in a foster home, where she was well-behaved, clean in the house and found to enjoy quiet spaces in particular. Once settled, her fosterers say she was very affectionate. Tess barks at other dogs on the lead, but this is because she is a timid girl trying to express her concern. The Home’s experienced behaviour team will help new owners with her training. When she is relaxed and happy, she really loves life and is deserving of a very special forever home. Please come and meet Tess at Bath Cats and Dogs Home, The Avenue, Claverton Down, Bath BA2 7AZ.
