Prinny is a six-year-old long-haired black cat at Cats Protection’s Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre. Prinny has often been overlooked because she doesn’t always make the best first impression. She has been known to initially lash-out in a new environment but once she trusts you she will curl up on your lap and enjoy plenty of fuss and attention.
A quiet home would suit her best, ideally with no other pets and an experienced owner who will understand that she needs time to settle and get to know that her new home is a safe place where she can relax and drop her guard. She really enjoyed time in the garden at her previous home and so a spot in the winter sun where she can watch the world around her would be ideal. Once Prinny has built a bond with her new owner, she will make a lovely companion with both an independent streak and a heart of gold.
Anyone interested in finding out more about Prinny should initially send in the online application at www.cats.org.uk/axhayes or call 01395 232377. The centre pauses homing over Christmas but cats can be reserved to move to their new homes in the New Year.
