Thoroughbred Cross Alabama is looking for a new home as a ridden horse.
Nine-year-old, 15hh bay mare Alabama was rescued, alongside her companion Zola, by Redwings Horse Sanctuary in 2013. The extremely underweight horses had been reported to the charity after concerns were raised about their condition and their lack of adequate care.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team at Redwings, Alabama was brought back to full health and has now completed her training, ready to find a fun and loving home through the charity’s rehoming programme – the Redwings Guardianship Scheme.
With an experienced rider who can help continue her training and develop her confidence, Alabama is set to be a great all-rounder. She loves to be active and enjoys hacking as much as she does schooling. She’s also great to handle and particularly enjoys being groomed.
If you think you can offer the beautiful Alabama a loving and active home visit www.redwings.org.uk/rehoming where you’ll also find details of other Redwings’ rescued horses and ponies looking to be rehomed.
Please note, Redwings is currently only able to rehome in East Anglia, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
