Gentle rescued mare Zig Zag from Redwings Horse Sanctuary is looking for a new home!
Ten-year-old 13hh cob Zig Zag is a talented pony who schools well and loves to jump! And with the right owner, she has the potential to do really well at local shows and competitions.
Zig Zag was rescued in 2009 from Hertfordshire where she and ten other mares were found in a terrible state of neglect.
However, with lots of love and care from Redwings Horse Sanctuary’s vet and farm teams, Zig Zag and her companions all made fantastic recoveries, and their affectionate natures meant many were perfect for the charity’s rehoming programme – the Redwings Guardianship Scheme.
Zig Zag is looking for an experienced home where she can enjoy an active lifestyle and being taken out to shows; however, due to her sensitive nature she does need the company of other horses.
Visit www.redwings.org.uk/rehoming to apply to rehome Zig Zag and to find details of other Redwings’ rescue horses and ponies looking for homes.
Please note, Redwings is currently only able to rehome in East Anglia, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
