Bark The Herald Angels Sing: a Christmas carol service for dogs is happening in Dublin today

At 1.15pm today, there’ll be a Christmas carol service with a difference taking place at Dublin’s Christchurch Cathedral: the Peata Carol Service is being held for the dogs that work with Peata as therapy animals, visiting people in hospitals and institutions, all year round.

You could ask “Do They Know It’s Christmas Time At All?”, but whatever’s going on, it’s an innovative idea that encourages people to think about the different ways that animals take part in our society.
