My latest blog for the Telegraph addresses the cost issue of vets again. I don’t particularly like banging on about this aspect of my work, but it seems to be the subject that most exercises the people who comment on the blog. Hopefully, having dealt with this again, I can move on to other veterinary topics next week.
By the way, the dog in the picture above, Rusty, belongs to my cousins, and it just so happens that they sent me the photo, with the same caption, this morning. He’s a lovely 13 year old dog, and the lumps were beginning to bother him. Now that they’ve been removed, he’ll be able to go on and have a relaxed, comfortable old age.
