Human-pig hybrids are a step too far: Pete the Vet’s weekly podcast

Scientists have spliced human DNA into the genome of pig embryos, tweaking the immunoreactivity of the pig’s livers so that they are not rejected when transplanted into humans.

What do I think? This is madness: scientists doing stuff just because they can, without thinking about the unintended consequences.
