An exhibition is currently on display in Somerset featuring a range of artworks centred on cats, aiming to raise funds for the important work of International Cat Care.
You can buy the art online if you’re interested – see the catalogue here.
One of the more unusual pieces is a cat mummy, but don’t worry: it isn’t real – it’s made of chicken wire and bandages. Since the BBC story about the cache of feline mummies found in Egypt quite a few people have leapt to the mistaken conclusion that there is a real cat mummy on show here. If you are interested in any of this work, follow the links in the catalogue to find out how to make a purchase.
